Most of these products have an active ingredient known as Methoxybenzolmethane or Avobenzone. This ingredient will cause them to take on a pinkish/orange tone. The colour change and damage to the hair is irreversible. To avoid this damage, only use mineral sunscreens and tanning products and ensure they are free of Avobenzone.
